From Wedding Style, Planning & Inspiration | the Wedding Paper Divas Blog by Jessica

Wedding Paper Divas is bursting with staff grooms and brides-to-be who are currently planning their weddings. We’re happy to share their stories with you as a part of this fun feature!

Let me just start off by saying, I am surprisingly calm. So calm, in fact, that I am starting to freak myself out that I should be stressing out more. It’s finally so close that both Dan and I can almost feel the day. What’s making me the most nervous? That I won’t be able to say the vows that I wrote because I’ll be crying too hard. In my opinion, there could be things much worse, so I am not too worried.

All the finals details have fallen into place. And all those things that seemed like they would never come to an end have worked themselves out. We are both so ready to see the year and eight months of planning come to fruition. I can picture the whole day in my head, but I have a sneaky feeling when I actually see it it will blow my vision out of the water. I have already come to terms with all the little things that didn’t happen exactly as I imagined. I guess I really took it to heart when every bride says not to stress over the little things. I know no one will notice the way I will, and if it doesn’t drive me crazy, then I am sure no one else will care. Here is a little taste of some inspiration that did make it into our details:

(I actually repurposed stationery from Wedding Paper Divas to make my Madlibs Guestbook myself!)

You know what else is pretty, cool? When we first got engaged, we figured out how much we could spend on the wedding without breaking the bank. We pulled together a seemingly random number (not really having an idea of what things really cost, but taking our best guess) and we ended up being $37 under budget. We basically did everything that was on our wish list. That’s pretty sweet, if you ask me.

Tuesday is my last day at work, but I will be back in a few months to share the photos and all the post-wed advice!

Meet Jessica

Jessica and Dan met nearly 7 years ago on Myspace. (Remember Myspace?) It took weeks of contemplation until they decided to finally meet… and I guess you could say the rest was history. After discovering their mutual shoe addiction, surviving countless Thanksgiving family meals together and three apartment/house moves later—they are officially ready to tie the knot.

Jessica and Dan are getting married May 27, 2012 at Malibou Lake Mountain Club in Los Angeles.

Friday is coming up. And hopefully most of us will find that exciting. Some people like to spend the weekend relaxing, catching up on some reading and family. Mine very rarely look anything like that. I tend to be even busier on weekends that I am on a day at the work place. I’ve got meetings. I’ve got projects that need to be finished. I’ve got to do errands. But this weekend is different…

This weekend is guy time.

It’s a much needed mini vacation where I can just hang out with some of my closest guy friends. We already set it in stone and I must admit I am excited. That kind of excitement a little child gets when they find out their whole family is going to Six Flags on a perfect summer day. We are going to be grilling up some steaks, laughing, enjoying life, and playing video games. Games are one of our favorite times together. It seems to be one thing that can unite us anytime, anywhere. We love the adrenaline and team work involved. Yelling at each other in the same room like it’s a war zone. Personally I like to crank up my home theater to sound like I’m actually there in real life! Floors- shaking, teeth- rattling, thirst- growing, stomach- growling!

With all this fun, us guys can’t help but work up a soldier sized appetite. So on this unique occasion, I went beyond the call of duty and got a set of personalized napkins to use in tandem with all our snackage. I can’t wait for them to see. I chose to get a foil stamped personalized napkin with a logo that I designed up myself so that we could use on more than one occasion. I loved the black napkin with silver foil because I knew it would match the electronic equipment in my theater room. So call me a nerd! What I do know is that the option for custom stationery really shows how Giftsin24 is an unstoppable force, prepared for anything you throw at it.

Getting most office tasks and works usually require the use of different types of stationery items. This is especially true for some companies which process contracts and other types of documents everyday.

Getting most office tasks and works usually require the use of different types of stationery items. This is especially true for some companies which process contracts and other types of documents everyday. Ensuring that the supply for such items is always enough can sometimes be very difficult especially during crunch periods where everybody is just to busy to care. This however is becoming easier these days with the growing popularity of stationery online sites which offer different types of office supplies and with different delivery options to choose from.

Brick and mortar shops including bookstores and department stores were originally the only places where one can get supplies of stationery items. Back in the days, offices and homes schedule dates of buying these supplies. This however is no longer the case for most business establishments especially with the emergence of the computer age. Today, more and more people are relying to stationery online sites which allows for faster and more convenient shopping of supplies.

The popularity of shopping for stationery online can be attributed to the number of advantages that can be derived from it. Primary among these is that it allows one to save a valuable amount of time and money on trips to a brick and mortar shop. Also, shopping for office supplies online allows one to quickly do comparison-shopping-one can compare the prices, as well as quality of an item, across several different shopping platforms. Another important advantage of online shopping for stationery items is allowing one to find specialty items that may not be carried in local shops. Buying stationery online is also environmentally friendly-as ordered products are transported once from warehouse to the shopper, carbon footprints are significantly reduced as unnecessary transportation are removed.

As mentioned, the growing popularity of shopping for stationery online led to the establishment of numerous online stationery stores. As such, when shopping for office supplies online, it is recommended to ensure that the company you will choose is an established one that has been in operation for a while. This piece of information can often be retrieved from the company’s FAQ or “About Us Page” or on the website’s copyright date. Another important consideration when shopping online are the available brands. It is a must to make sure that the website you choose carries the brands you need. The delivery options of the online stationery store are also important considerations when shopping online. This is especially necessary if you need your stationery quickly.

Another important factor to consider when shopping for stationery online is the quantity of stationery the retail store can accommodate. Lastly, it is also very important to check on the online store’s return policy. While online shopping is definitely a huge plus in today’s business lifestyle, it also often means that one may find himself/herself with some things that just don’t work. As such, it is very important to look for an online store with a reasonable return policy.

Buying stationery online is definitely one of the great things about technology. It not only makes buying easier and faster, but also offers many benefits to the company and the environment. The important thing to remember is to choose wisely where to buy from.

Marina Lucas is the CEO and editor a fashion magazine. In order to make sure that all her employees have access to the variety of office supplies necessary to get their job done, Marina often shops for stationery online (In her native German language, they call it “Buerobedarf online“).

What actually makes a book a great read? If we currently look at the top of the New York Times Best Seller List we can see for ourselves by similarities and differences. You might want to pick up your favorite Personalized Notepad and jot down these themes- murder, espionage, crime, life styles of the rich and famous, and more. The top five novels are a sordid mix of all of the above. The Innocent, by David Baldacci sits at the top of the list. It tells the tale of a hit man who rescues a teenage girl whose parents have been murdered as a conspiracy continues to unravel. The Witness, by Nora Roberts follows at No. 2. It is the plight of a programmer hiding from Russians in the Ozarks. John Grisham has returned once again to No. 3 with Calico Joe, beginning with the end of a promising rookie career. Years later the pitcher and rookie are brought together by the pitcher’s son. Unnatural Acts by Stuart Woods tells the story of a lawyer and a billion dollar hedge fund manager. The top five ends with Guilty Wives by James Patterson. It is the tale of four friends vacationing in Monaco who winds up in jail. Of course it’s something to talk about.

What about you? What are you reading? You keep track of what you read, don’t you? Most of America reads in bits and spurts. It is what you might call a national past time. The characters and the plots are rearranged but the dreams and hopes are strikingly the same. I think current hot titles on most of America’s reading lists include the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I honestly haven’t read it but I’ve seen the movie. Most of America is still chatting, tweeting about the book that was formally released in 2010. At present, all forms of known media have been saturated by info about The Hunger Games. You probably have generous notes on the issue, in your Personalized Notepad. Grab one of our Best Selling Personalized Notepads, such as: Apple Memo Squares, Distinct 7, Classic Monogram, Cotton Square, Desk Slabs, or Mini Lists, for you to organize your life, continuously update your schedule, and keep tabs on hot literary properties and people around you.
